Maine: Back country camping, and coastal hiking
We start off by heading up to Maine public lands, wandering around blueberry fields, eventually finding a perfect place to rest.
On to Jasper beach the next morning. Jasper beach is a beach of tumbled rocks, as smooth as you can imagine. A beautiful stop for the morning, it was so peaceful. The waves moving in and out of the rocks on Jasper beach, is something to experience, such a pretty sound!
Next we head up the coast, to Bog brook Preserve at Moose Cove.
A scenic view of Maine's rocky coast line. The tide was extremely low, the seaweed was cool to photograph! We also found lots of large crabs, hung out with the little sea birds, and came upon a neat, old, chimney (Chimney Trial)
Maine's Coast is beautiful, I hope to travel along it more in the near future! Plus, the weather has been amazing up here!
