Trump, GOP And Democrat Politicians Call On Biden To Resign Over Afghanistan Crisis

Former President Donald Trump called on President Joe Biden to "resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan" after the Taliban seized power in the country. Both Republicans and Democrats have expressed concern over the handling of the troop withdrawal, which Biden announced would happen by Aug. 31. Biden has since defended his decision saying, "American troops cannot and should not be fighting in a war and dying in a war that Afghan forces are not willing to fight for themselves."
