SLAUGHTER OF THE U.S.S. SARATOGA CV-60 aircraft carrier.
After successfully carrying out her orders, mission after mission,
American Super carriers are no long needed or wanted by the
US NAVY.
The latest victim of neglect --- the USS SARATOGA CV-60, after she was recently decommissioned.
The US NAVY placed her in donation status for a maritime museum adoption plan.
Why wasn't she moth-ball'd? She was allowed to deteriorated beyond repair. She was eventually sold for a DAMN SINGLE U.S. PENNY by the NAVY to a scrap yard!
