• Never give up! Even when you feel like you might have a heart attack, you won’t. Keep going. I stopped at the gate guardsman toward the end of the run. I paused the Nike Run Club app as my world was spinning for about twenty seconds. Then I collected myself, pushed hard, and finished my run.
• GOAL #1 SUCCESS!
- Beat a younger man to the gate guard. His breathing was better, meaning he was in better shape and could’ve gone faster.
•GOAL #2 SUCCESS!
- 4.55 miles from start of hill route back to stop in 30 miles, 34 seconds! New PERSONAL RECORD!
