Sheila Gunn Reid hears the story of a retired Ontario Provincial Police sergeant, NAME, who was issued a summons to appear in court after he spoke at a protest against lockdowns. After a video of Joe's speech was posted online, he was issued the charge by his former employer, the OPP. Political protests, which are supposed to be a protected right in Canada, have been the site of numerous COVID rule-breaking tickets across the country.
