The story of Mary of Magdala from the book of Matthew.

The promise of Pentecost is real.
God’s Spirit has been given, and it is available to all.

The Greek play emerged in the 6th century BC. From the time Thespis, the first actor, recited the first Prologue, the Greek play flourished.
Eventually it spread to Rome, and in modern times morphed into what is called an opera.

The book of Matthew records the story of Mary of Magdala: “a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head.” Matthew 26:7 (KJV)

God’s Spirit was mightily and abundantly given on Pentecost in the 1st century.

John 14:16 (KJV)
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

The promise of the Holy Spirit is not limited to any age. Christ declared that the divine influence of His Spirit was to be with His followers unto the end. From the Day of Pentecost to the present time,
the Comforter has been sent to all who have yielded themselves fully to the Lord and to His service. {AA 49.2}
