Counted 26 uniformed force members at a WWII-esque Numrich Checkpoint in Bali where Balinese we're stopped without cause and interrogated while driving. Some individuals transporting food where also stopped and proof-of-vaccination required in order to carry forward with delivery. Those caught at the stop without papers were subjected to random polymerase chain-reaction swab testing according to sources familiar with the matter. Just 10 days prior Bali Governor I Wayan Koster announced via his Detik media mouthpiece that Bali, Indonesia, an island of more than 4.3M inhabitants, saw only 343 active COVID-19 cases in a June 5th article titled "Catat! Ini 30 Titik Penyekatan di Bali Selama PPKM Darurat".
