John Simone built 1979 Porsche 911 race car converted to 993 C2S NA drivetrain (3.6L VarioRam w/ 6-speed G50 Transmission) w/ a 993 GT2 Evo Widebody, 275/335 Nitto NT01's, Big Red BBK, 935 underpinnings, JRZ Motorsports Series 11 Suspension, gutted, caged and weighing in at 2,200lbs w/ 300whp... and she's street legal! Kind of... :)
In this session at ABCC we had some fun hot lapping until we suffered a failure of the rear right suspension/control arm mounting bolt. It gave out going through Million Dollar Corner. Fortunately the car has SO much tire, we were able to keep traction and we avoided making a contribution to Million Dollar Corner! :)
