Wildfires causing destruction in US can be seen from space - BBC News

With yet more intense heat in the US this week, forest fires in many western states can be seen from space.

The Dixie fire in California started a month ago, it is the 2nd largest fire in the state's history and is still raging. Oregon is also battling one of the largest fires its ever faced.
