Only Time Will Tell - UniversXD

The Cuban Missile Crisis is a 13 day political and military standoff between the United States and the Soviet Union during October in 1962. The President at the time, President John F. Kennedy, notified Americans about the presence of the missiles in Cuba, who had recently become communist due to the leftist revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro, who aligned himself with the Soviet Union, and planned to help the Soviet Union with the Cold War. In case if the Soviet Union were to not take their missiles out of Cuba at the end of a thirteen day period, then the United States would push in their naval blockade and invade Cuba, which would spark the cold war.

But the spark was avoided because the U.S. agreed that if it were to take out the missiles from Turkey, then the Soviet Union would remove theirs from Cuba. The request was made one day before the U.S. was supposed to invade Cuba in 1962.

The Cold War Officially ended in 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union and the fall (somewhat) of Communism. Even though there is still communism on Earth, we still celebrated the victory of the intense Cold War.
