Still talking about 2 dimensional geometry. Probably ready to move on in Artin, but I want to talk about this stuff while it's still fresh in my mind. Relating our concepts to geometry is always a good idea. Later on I want to talk about number theory and cryptography. Having a solid concrete context for some algebraic geometry will be nice when that time comes around.
