The Sarah Branham Investigation Part 2: Seeking Legal Counsel

This episode examines Sarah Branham's quest to find legal counsel through a network of supporters in other countries. It begins by examining the version of Sarah Branham's letter entitled "Take It With You" that had been made available to the public, and alterations to that letter that did not exist in the original. It also examines a handwritten letter that Sarah sent to Orland Walker and his wife, describing her desperate situation and how leaders in Branham's "Message" cult were behaving. It also examines a letter sent from Sarah Branham to Ray Thompson in New Zealand wherein Sarah describes the lifestyle of her brother, Billy Paul Branham when Billy Paul was not on stage. According to Sarah, Billy Paul smoked during the services and drank alcohol, which was strictly condemned by William Branham and other cult leaders. As a result, William Branham did not want Billy Paul to participate in the revival meetings. The letter goes on to describe the unethical practices of Pearry Green, "Message" cult leader of the Tucson Tabernacle and close personal friend of William Branham. According to Sarah, Green had amassed millions of dollars while destroying marriages and finances of both her and her sister, Rebekah Branham Smith. At the end of her letter, Sarah accused Billy Paul Branham of forgery, which is a felony in all fifty states of the U.S. According to Sarah, Billy Paul had forged William Branham's signature and added "Jr" to the signature to get access to all assets of the William Branham Evangelistic Association. (Billy Paul Branham is not a "Jr", and became a "Sr" when he named his son "William Paul Branham, Jr". Billy Paul's son is technically the one named on the document though according to Sarah it was signed by Billy Paul, intended to be William Branham, Billy Paul's father.)

Last, it examines the credibility of Gerald Lee Walker, whom Sarah connected with to begin the legal process of suing her brothers for the things she felt were either unethical or criminal with regards to the business operating underneath the "Message" cult. It examines the relationship of the Walker family to the cult, including William Branham's usage of Orland Walker's "spiritual dream" stating "I'll ride this trail once more". It compares Sarah's accusations of Billy Paul drinking to that of Howard Branham, who operated a bar and nightclub in Jeffersonville, IN while touring with William Branham in the revival meetings, and compares Walker's conversion to that of Matthew Carapella and Steven Ravbar.
