Despite a Black woman launching the #MeToo movement, white women-- and white men -- have largely been the focus of this pivotal moment. But as the movement slowly makes its rounds to the Black community and we see men like Russell Simmons, Bill Cosby, and others face allegations of sexual misconduct -- and African Americans show support for them despite proof of their transgressions -- it begs the question: Do we really want #MeToo for us too?
