Rockwood School Board parent comment/speech

We need transparency! As a member of a parent group that has been investigating school lesson complaints, I wanted to share this so parents in other districts can see where transparency has been missing in regards to our school lessons and how Critical Race Theory was in them. This is despite the district's denial that it teaches CRT. At the end, Rockwood's board president interrupted to try and stop me from talking about the literacy coordinator who was recently fired after telling teachers how to hide lesson content that parents were concerned about. The instructions were in an email that was leaked by "concerned employees." This meeting was held at Marquette High school, one of the district's 4 high schools, in Chesterfield, MO. August 11, 2021.
