ONE SHOT, KILLED DURING ARMED ROBBERY AT RENO BUSINESS

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — One person was shot and killed in the middle on an armed robbery at a Reno business Wednesday afternoon.

Officers with the Reno Police Department responded to a business on the 600 block of East Moana Lane on the report of a shooting at around 3:30 p.m. on August 11. Police said the person was rushed to a local hospital where they later died from a gunshot wound.

Police said all involved in the shooting have been accounted for and are cooperating with the investigation. Officers determined the person was shot while committing an armed robbery inside the business.

Officers determined that no one will be arrested at this time because the shooting was an act of self defense.
