How to video on location and process to access the spare tire in a Mercedes Metris van. Hope you find this video helpful.
Yes, my spare tire is flipped over from the way it comes from the factory. I like it better this way for two reasons:
1. I feel the rubber sidewall of the tire seats better and holds tighter against the underside of the van during driving.
2. The plastic shield provides better aerodynamics (and hopefully helps increase gas milage) when positioned at the bottom instead of in between the tire and underside of the van.
"Moose" is the name of our 2016 Mercedes Metris Camper Van.
