Does the garlic reach the colon or is it all absorbed in the intestine before it gets to the colon? I could not find the answer to this. The main thing with the c. difficile protocol is to eat practically nothing but raw cabbage and sauerkraut with some raw carrot for a little variety for 10 days and there is very good evidence that this will work. I think shop bought coleslaw would work with the protocol but homemade with aioli will be much nicer and it may just have an extra little bit of synergy due to the garlic.
