This 7x48 stick features a dark brown red hued wrapper with a firm even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, oily smooth feel, triple cap and a musty hay aroma. First light reveals a big zesty black pepper with a slight sweet earth, woodiness and perfect draw with a big bold pepper through the finish. The first third drops the sweetness and goes to a straight pepper and tobacco combo with a touch of earth coming in through the long finish. It's fairly plain combo thus far and you have to be a pepper fan with it's deep zing and finish. Construction is flawless with a nice slow burn, perfect draw and plentiful smooth smoke production. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes dropping a solid chunk of ash. Flavors go to a medium body with a creamy slightly sweet coffee taking over the draw followed by just a touch of the pepper remaining. Finishing up at 1:10 the last third goes to a straight bold coffee note with a touch of fleeting sweetness and cream going to a long smooth coffee finish.
