This song has become one of my favorite songs in recent years that would be considered a modern hymn. It has a quality that compares to others like Death Was Arrested or even This I Believe (The Creed) — another Hillsong gem. Just like last week, I find this song to be an excellent addition around Easter. But really what we are expressing is a year round truth. The song takes us back to the point of Calvary, to the empty tomb, and points us to Christ’s return. As I have been contemplating the blessed hope lately (my current blog series), a song like this ties in marvelously. I hope you enjoy it and I hope it is an encouragement to you in your time of worship this week.
