In 1993 the united states army was in the failed state of Somalia, trying to restore a basic level of security while dispensing food aid to the thousands of Somalians who were in need of this aid.
Hindering the US efforts was a leader named Mohamed Farrah Aidid. The US believed that the Capture of the war leader Mohamed Farrah Aidid was critical in its mission to restoring security to Somalia. Unaware, to the US task force,
Mohamed Farrah Aidid was preparing to set up an ambush that would ultimately lead to Two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters being shot down, 19 dead and 17 wounded American soldiers would come from the ensuing battle. The battle would be recorded in history as the "Battle of Mogadishu" and widely known to the public from the 2001 Ridley Scott Movie production of "Black hawk Down."
Fast forward 30 years later, and in a completely different part of the world; 2021 in Canada. In late winter of 2021 Much of Canada's government and politicians were still operating in a state of Covid panic. Terrified that Canada's social health care would collapse if a surge of Covid stricken persons would flood its tax subsidie funned hospitals.
In this context, we find Canada Leaders of all stripes acting tyrannical and authoritarian.
One of Canada's worst leaders during the Covid pandemic is Ontario Premier Doug Ford. Under the Ford regime, Ontarians saw businesses being locked down; businesses being bankrupted; children being slammed by OPP officers, and most of all, Churches being heavily enforced with fines and court-approved injunctions.
Ford's business dealings during this time is also something that should perk up anyone's attention. Ford himself was shoveling millions into his own printing firm while at the same time he was preventing other businesses from making a living.
Ford's corrupt government should be the example of what Canada's Covid response looked like, when Government failed it's people. But what Jason Kenny would do to upstage the disgrace Ontario Premier would forever cement Kenny as the Face of Canada's disgrace Covid response.
The images of three pastors being arrested and sent to Jail for church services, feeding the poor, will haunt Kenny for years to come. This is primarily because of Kenny's hypocrisy when caught by a photographer violating his own Covid lockdown rules, alongside his health minister Tyler Shandro.
Kenny's Covid Response will be his legacy that will be Canada's Covid Legacy.
