Puppy is a juvenile dog.Normslly Puppies can weigh 1–1.5 kg. But larger ones can weigh up to 7–11 kg. Healthy puppies grow quickly after birth. A puppy's grow older coat color may change as we can see in breeds such as the Yorkshire Terrier.

First sense that puppies begin to use is sense of touch. Puppies reach their full size in 12 to 24 months. Smaller dog breeds mature faster than larger ones. Puppies are born with a single coat or say fur. Between 4 to 6 months of age, most puppies shed and grow their adult coat.
