U.S. says up to Afghans to defend as Taliban advance

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said the United States was deeply concerned about a trend in Afghanistan - after Taliban militants captured a sixth provincial capital on Monday - but that Afghan security forces had the capability to fight the insurgent group.
