Merkley: GOP shouldn't try denying Dems quorum for $3.5T reconciliation bill

Sen. Jeff Merkley expressed support for the Texas Democrats' decision to flee the state to deny Republicans quorum to pass their state election reform bill but said he would oppose the Senate GOP using the same strategy to block the Democrats' $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill.
