Monday Moments 8-9-21

I wrote once: As time passed I thought to myself, dreamed of the way it should be…

This opening line was beginning of healing I endured over the past 45 years and healing quite frankly is never complete.

It started with a picture I did in art class, simple and clean, it delivered a powerful visual that incorporated both elements of the natural world;

The human hand and that damn bowl of fruit.

It went on to say: You are gone, gone to the future, on a trip which will never end, through the great black sea of stars and space, let me give you a taste.

I think of the poem and picture I did back in the day quite often. It grounds me and for just long enough it distracts me to deliver a better more peaceful place to be in when I need to ask myself why…

I heard from stage on Friday: “There is no one you know that talks to you more than yourself.”

You need to get right with you and the way you answer your future self-questions. #dbrn
