Hard Rains, Heavy Winds and Feisty Smallmouth

The weatherman was calling for scattered afternoon storms and he didn't disappoint! My thinking was the fish might be turned on before the front hit and I've decided the more I fish the less I know about said fish!!!! they weren't as active as I'd hoped but we did catch several before the deluge hit us and the lightening streaked the skies!
