Qi, also known as Chi, is our life force or flow of energy. Your natural state is to allow Qi energy to flow smoothly through your body and then out of it.

I notice I am blocking this flow when my body is contracted, my breath is shallow, and I feel energetically confined. When we become aware of ourselves, it is easy to acknowledge our misalignment for it does not feel good; we feel uncentered and disempowered.

Two simple tools that assist me in ‘unblocking’ my flow of energy are: 1) Deep breathing, (being mindful about it) and 2) Visualize this swirling, fluid energy circulating through my body and out into the world via my activities.

Qi is fascinating to experiment with – enjoy!
