New York Times Squashed Covid Origins Story

A top editor at the New York Times instructed their staffers not to investigate the origins of COVID-19. With today’s Americans for Limited Government, I’m Catherine Mortensen. That’s according to a bombshell report from Spectator news. According to the report, a New York Times reporter said in that in early 2020 he was told it was dangerous to run a piece about the origins of the coronavirus. There was resistance to running anything that could suggest that [COVID-19 was manmade or had leaked accidentally from a lab]. ‘It was considered a conspiracy theory,’ confirms a second Times insider. ‘ The fact that Trump embraced it also made it a no-go.’ In the years before COVID, revenue from China was an integral part of the Times’s business model. The paper received millions of dollars from Chinese government-controlled outlets and published ‘advertorials’ pushing the Chinese government’s line.
