Anthrax, the military, and the Jab | Veteran Perspective and Mom of a Soldier

I'm a veteran and remember getting lots of shots as part of my enlistment, but these were proven and widely used and the things they protected against were far and away worse than any side effects. Anthrax is deadly, so in 1998 the military decided that a shot for that should be mandated. But it was not so well proven. in 2004 the requirement was deemed illegal and the program stopped. Unfortunately, for those hurt by side effects and those hurt by article 15's and court martials (courts martial?) for refusing it was too late.

Unlike civilian jobs, where you can quit if you don't like the terms of employment our enlisted soldiers face jail and dishonerable discharge for failing to follow orders and can't quit until their contract is up.

As a mom of an Army reservist who has already recovered from the thing the shot protects against, I don't want to see her having to face this mandate. What are your thoughts?
