The body of the whale
5
Did you know that these plankton that you see on the body of the whale are nothing but parasitic organisms?
Colonies of "barnacles" invade the bodies of whales in the cradle and attach to them to make the whale's body home. Our giant friend does not benefit from this relationship with anything other than the extra load, which may reach 500 kilograms for an adult whale, and scientists interpret whales jumping and hitting the water as a way to drop some intruders from his body.
