Homemade primers EPM 8 vs commecial primers test.

I learned a tremendous amount about reloading primers by performing this simple yet informative test. Several primers were loaded into a 9mm casing (no projectile/no powder). Lessons learned 1: you get what you pay for (CCI primers are better than wolf) 2: Magnum primers do indeed produce more flame. 3: #41's are indeed harder cups (and I have since then learned the anvils inside them are shorter). This is by design and helps prevent slam-fires by the free-floating firing pin used by the AR-15's. 4: EPM 8 is a heck of a primer compound.
