The Souls of the Lost Tribes of Israel are Spread Among the Nations. Are You One of Them?

As many of us know, the Jewish People today are only two of the original twelve tribes of Israel. What happened to the ten lost tribes? They were scattered across the globe in all directions. Some maintained their tribal identities, like some of the Pushtun tribes of Afghanistan, many of whom have strong evidence of their ancestral connection to Israel.
Still yet, many families' connection to Israel was lost through history. Families around the world migrated intermarried, losing the knowledge about their history in the process.

We see today that individuals are waking up from around the world with a strong desire to connect to Judaism and learn about the Creator from the Torah's perspective. These people connect with us from all continents, speaking many languages. Their desire to connect with Judaism seems like a great mystery. But there is a spiritual dimension to this reality.

These souls must have some connection to Israel, or else they wouldn't be interested in our path. Their souls must have a place with us in some form or another. Many of them surely are the descendants of the Lost Tribes, whose holy souls have carried one generation to the next until the spark of holiness was finally awoken to rejoin its source.

These souls are coming from communities distant, and sometimes estranged from ours. They often might hold beliefs that contract some of ours because of the environment in which they were raised. We should try to look beneath the surface, to see them for who they are, souls who desire the truth, who also hold a spark of holiness.

We should awaken ourselves to the mission and purpose of our lives, to connect with the Creator, and also be a "lighthouse unto the nations", and especially to the souls of our long-lost brothers and sisters who are trying to find their way back to their spiritual home.
