KFOR RC-East in Kosovo Assists Wildfire Suppression in Leposavic

Elements of Kosovo Force 29 Regional Command-East's maneuver battalion joined forces with the Kosovo Fire Brigade and Kosovo Police to extinguish a wildfire near Leposavic on Aug. 2, 2021. Soldiers of Alpha Troop, 1st Squadron, 172nd Cavalry Regiment (Mountain), Vermont National Guard, in coordination with the 1st Battalion, 169th Aviation Regiment, Connecticut National Guard, and international military partners kept the fire from spreading to nearby residences.
