The Angora goat was unrealistically frightened by the sound of the car.

The Angora goat is a type of domestic goat with large pendulous ears and long hair that makes up silk-soft wool. The glossy fiber commonly known as mohair is produced from the wool of angora goats. The people most often call it simply: angora.
The Angora goat is larger and stronger than the European goat, and the goat is distinguished in particular by its sharply edged, horizontally double curled and strong horns.
The Angora goats were first introduced to the United States of America by Dr. James in 1849. Seven adult goats were a gift from Sultan Abdul-Majid I in appreciation for his services and advice on improving the quality of cotton. As a result of the American Civil War, most of the herd was destroyed, but in the end, Angora goat breeding began to flourish in the southwest, in particular in the state of Texas, where there were enough grasses and bushes for a forage base. Texas to this day remains the largest producer of mohair in the United States, and the second largest in the world.
