The 6PM "LIVE" version of this story is substantially different and less informative than what is currently canned online.

At 6PM today, TV20 reported a Covid-19 story and a statement by CEO of Shands, Ed Jimenez.

Reporter. Nicollette Sangara: "The vaccine was always meant to effect the impact from the virus, not the infection"

CEO, Ed Jimenez followed the reporter's commment:

"The vaccine was always intended to lessen the impact of the virus. That's why we would expect to have vaccinated people have less likelihood of death. We would expect to have lesser rate of going to the ICU than unvaccinated.

This live version of the story was taken down and replaced with another clip with these claims removed.

Notwithstanding the inflated reports of high patient admissions, it's noteworthy that the canned version actually debunked that rumor when it was reported that most hospitals were only at 75% capacity.

At 7PM I contacted the front desk to request the 6PM aired version of the story be posted in place of the altered version.
