How are they not in a cult when they believe in the magical appearance of a new form of society from the ashes of the old? Does that justify all the misery caused by the destruction of the old world? In their minds, it does because it will be better. How do they know this? Because they say so. History time and time again has had tyrants promising a brave new world via revolution.
