Eiroa The First 20 Years 654 Cigar Review

This box pressed 6x54 stick features a dark cocoa wrapper with a very oily satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, slightly soft pack and a sweep peppery tobacco aroma. First light reveals a flawless draw with medium-full bodied flavors of a sweet chocolate, musty aged tobacco, tiny bit of coffee and a slight pepper through the short clean finish. The first third drops to a medium body needing a double puff for decent smoke. The flavors are just a neutral earth as the smoke is very hot and the cigar going squishy back to the band. 35 minutes in at the 1/2 way point, flavors shift back to the start but the burn is still tunneling with the wrapper just not keeping up, needing a touchup. Ending at 45 minutes it needed yet another touchup and the flavors completely washed out.
