Drive thru Woodland lake, Pinetop AZ

Took this quick trip through Woodland lake park in Pinetop AZ on Father's day, to check things out. The Lake is almost non existent at this time, due to drought and work being done around the lake and park.
Pine/Bark beetles have been a big problem for years especially during drought. The Pine trees use sap/pitch to push the Beetles out, but if the trees are too dry there is very little sap/pitch and the trees end up dying.
When you see a forest of green pine trees with 1 or 2 brown, dead, pine trees, it's usually the pine or bark Beetles to blame.

Since Father's day, we have had a lot of rain in the White Mountains Arizona. We might be out of the drought soon and hopefully the Lake will be full once again.

Hope you enjoy this video!
Peace ❤
