The art of war.

In this example it’s a metaphor for the struggle between mediocrity and leaving this place a better place than you found it.

We die, and for the longest time we fool ourselves into believing that “there’s always tomorrow.”

They call it “someday” and deep down we all know someday never comes, does it?

When we were young we are invincible!

To that point, sitting on a picnic table bench in the shade, next to the garage, bored, and somewhat exhausted from a morning doing tricks on our motor cycles, Kevin, spoke up loud and clear.

“I really don’t think I’ll make it to 20, 25 no way, 30 can’t even imagine.” How about you guys?

We all share some similar thoughts and then Doug said, hey Pat! How about jumping your Dad’s T-Bird end to end…. John & Mike were the first to jump up and start building a makeshift ramp.

Fully distracted, and on to the next adventure, we never came back to that moment.

I’ve come back to that moment now but, my tomorrow should it come, will be different than Pat, who now has no more tomorrows.
