Try to blame the poor performance of Black Widow on the release model all you like, but the fact of the matter remains there was a contract between Scarlett Johansson and Disney that may or may not have been violated. Were there incentives that could have only been met with an Exclusive Box Office release? Was is renegotiated in light of the switch in release? Don't know yet, but Johansson's Legal Team thinks she was robbed of upwards of $50 Million.

Personally, I hope everyone loses.
