Thousands of protesters gather for protest against Green Pass in Rome

Protesters rallied in Rome's Piazza del Popolo against the Green Pass law adopted by the Italian government in response to the pandemic. From August 6, the new law will require Italian citizens to have a pass showing proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to have access to public spaces, restaurants, museums, and cinemas.
