4K Kiki’s Bad Day :(

Prince doesn't like going to the vet, so we thought he was going to have a bad day, which is why we recorded our trip. Instead we got an unexpected surprise. Let's just say it was an $800 vet visit & $600 went to Xerxes. Kiki had the worst trip to the vet of all my animals, & that's saying a lot. Tiger had his leg removed, but he was asleep for that. Poor Kiki will you please pray for him. He is still not doing well on 7/29/2021. Hoping to avoid surgery :( Even though he is only 3 he has ascended to the throne, so all 4 of us are hoping for the best. We live our little monkey cat & so does Prince. I even think the lizards would miss him, as they think he is going to give them crickets LOL. Please stay tuned, as we filmed the entire visit for both Pets. I have never been to this Vet, Dr. Oliver before. I can't speak yet to the skill or care as Xerxes may have more visits in his future, so. What I will say is that they spent quite a bit of time with my Cat, and did seem knowledgeable. The whole visit was well over an hour for both pets, and we were the only ones in the practice. Also, my dog has never had a better nail clipping. Pugs have issues with them as they can curl under, now we won't have to worry about that for a while. The best thing I saw was that the Dr. definitely has a gift with animals, you will see in the video. My Dog hates going to the vet, and his anxiety is probably worse than mine in that scenario. Kiki is awesome as you will see in the videos, but he is obviously in a lot of pain, you will see when he squeezes his stomach. You could tell he had a calming effect on them, and they did trust him.

The only downside for me was this was the first vet in the 42 years I've been a dog owner that told me that I had to get the Heartworm test annually, even if I keep my dog on it year round. Now he had some valid points as you will see, but I feel if I keep them on it year round, I shouldn't have to pay ($40) for that. I am also on guard because we do have a lot of shysters here. Now if he's right and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, I would not be able to live with myself if $40 wound up costing his life, so I went along with it.

I watched our beloved German Shephard Duke when I was 5 get heartworm & the poison to kill it. He would have seizures & it was hard to watch. It slowly took his life & I don't wish that on anyone. Because of that I'm very anal about the subject, & my childhood vet Dr. Robinson, who I trust completely told me that was how I could ensure it didn't happen again. As some of you know I was going to be a vet & I think I too have a gift. What follows after is much worse though advised. Stay tuned, but be advised if you may get sad you may not want to watch, it is hard to hear a cat in pain. Ask Prince he was not happy about his buddy.

This is a positive channel and I want that same experience for all. This channel was created to bring people from all walks of life back together again on ONE platform. We need to teach our future generations that it is ok to disagree, debate, and have your own opinions, but it is not ok for ANYONE to force their opinions on you. We also need to let that know that we aren't always going to get along but in life you need to learn to work with other with varying backgrounds, opinions, and beliefs.

We are all created equal in God's eyes & we should embrace the ideal that every American is entitled to live their life how they see fit. We SHOULD ALL be on board with that.
