Why I LEFT The Music Industry/Hollywood

This is my speech from The National Center On Sexual Exploitation’s Online Global Summit. I was honored to be asked to share my music, my advocacy and my story. I decided I couldn’t take part in an industry that profits and normalized sexual exploitation; especially of children. There is no reforming a system that is unwilling to take accountability. They cannot exploit me or my music. I left and I took my voice with me. Today I use my music to bring awareness and financial support to fight trafficking and exploitation. I couldn’t have imagined this would become my passion but God is more creative than our limited worldly perspective. I’m grateful to be able to continue doing what I do and to have the support of people like you. In freedom,
