In June of 1972, competitor Hornell radio stations Wlea AM 1480 and WHHO AM 1320, worked together, sharing information, as heard in these reports with then, new Wlea owner Kevin Doran, speaking with WHHO's Joe Termin. Most of the audio here was aired on WHHO, on June 23, 1972. Both Kevin Doran and Joe Termin were given awards afterwards, for their emergency broadcasts, some of which was joint-coverage.
