2. Unity Candle - Studio Recording

From the vault of my earliest compositions: the second piece from 6 Short Pieces for Piano. Dedicated to my older brother and his wife. After going to a number of weddings, I noticed the couples getting married would often pick a very long song to light their unity candle to. Lighting the candle does not take long and so they are left staring at each other while their song finishes. By the time the song is over, the audience, and the couple, are relieved that the awkward wait is over! For that reason, I kept this song short and sweet. Played on a Yamaha Portable Grand keyboard (which doesn't have much dynamic range).
