Dead Space, Playthrough, Level 8 "Search and Rescue" (Level Completed)

Fun level, but boy there were whole lotta enemies flying at me at one point.. good thing I had a substantial amount of ammo. Now onto level 9. The plot thickens with the Ishimura apparently down for the count. I've found the blaster weapon useful for those small creatures and for the weaker enemies.. I'd like to max out the damage and see what it is really like with the big ones. :-) .. and oh, by the way, those disgusting infected human things stuck to the wall regrow limbs if not dealt with fast - and they hard to kill!! Anyone have a favorite weapon?
