Wood Toy Pickup Truck from the Play Pal Series Blue Two-Tone Body With Metallic Blue Hubs: I painted the edges of the toy truck and the sides of the toy. I finished with clear shellac. Traditionally, the wood grain runs the toy's length, but running the grain vertical makes the toy truck sturdier and gives it a different look.

I handmade this wood toy pickup truck in my Toymakers Shop using traditional woodworking tools. I hand-finished the toy with blue acrylic paint, amber, and clear shellac. These toys are sturdy, durable, and built for play. The small size makes it easy for small hands to carry with them.

I make every effort to make sure my toys perform well. I carefully test each toy before it is listed in my store.
