Boreal Forest and Trees

Alberta's Boreal Forest extends through most of the upper half of the province and the lower reaches of the Rocky Mountains and foothills. Mostly Coniferous, there are still a number of deciduous trees which take hold. It's not uncommon to encounter moose and loon near the forest lakes. This beautiful photographic montage features music by Glen Halls and Daniel Lapp called "Mist" from the album "Alpine Suite". For more information visit northernkayak.com
