Why, yes, I do think it's weird that "protecting democracy" could mean abstaining from, or attempting to halt or subvert, the process.

I do think it's weird that people are mad at rich dudes for building space programs, but ignore that corporations are creations of government fiction that literally cannot function without tacit permission if not direct assistance from the government, especially when "the government that should be doing it" with your tax dollars isn't, which led those rich dudes to step up to the task.

Let's find out how many people this will piss off.
