A Jewel In The Colorado Rockies

It took a few years for me to get there, but I finally made it to Bishops Castle. This is a castle built by one man over a period of about fifty years or so. If you listen to him you can see what drives him. Like many he is fed up with everything being about money and he's not very impressed with modernity. This to me is a model of perseverance. If you get the chance to see it do it. That being said you do it at your own risk. There are signs all over it saying that. That is a part of everyday life however, in spite of what some people seem to think.
