The demon started as a human. Born and raised from baby to boy to man. Then lived life bent over a typewriter, creation pouring from his fingertips. Days became months became years, and the man grew older. Thoughts and memories became foggy, and he started to forget. Time marched on, and then it was his time to go.
On large dark wings as black as midnight, The Lone Dark One arrived in a whisper and swung the scythe. With a skeletal hand, They took the man gently by the arm and led him away from the old body.
The man’s thoughts had cleared, and though no words were spoken, he knew that there was a different world awaiting him, a world that needed Righting. A new body, too, a different manner of body. A vessel that could take him to the very depths of existence and the highest towers of consciousness.
